2007 onwards: Hyundai is the joint major sponsor of the Carlton Football Club as well as Carlton’s official car sponsor and official coach sponsor. For more information click here. 1995 -1999: The six year partnership between one of the AFL's iconic clubs—Carlton and Hyundai Motor Company Australia, kicked off in its inaugural year with Carlton winning the 1995 AFL Premiership and reaching the finals in three of the next five years, including the Grand Final in 1999. Hyundai acknowledged during this six year partnership that the linkage with Carlton had been a mutually beneficial one and had helped Hyundai become an established household name. Hyundai has to this day been the only third major sponsor in the history of the Carlton Football Club and the first to promote their brand on the back of the playing guernsey.
