Terms and Conditions
1. Any information on how to participate in this Promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Participation is open to all Carlton Football Club Members (Members). Excludes Adult 3 members. However, employees and their immediate families of Hyundai Motor Company Australia Pty Ltd, Carlton Football Club Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. ABN holders, Fleet owners, government authorities and agencies or person acquiring vehicles for business or commercial purposes are also excluded from participating in the Promotion.
3. This Promotion is valid until 31 December 2010 and all claims must be received prior to this date. The Promotion and the benefits of the Promotion may not be combined with any other similar promotion run by Hyundai. Any claim for the Loyalty Bonus under this Promotion will make the claimant ineligible to claim under any similar promotion or loyalty bonus scheme which Hyundai may be running for other sports clubs or associations.
4. There are two stages to this Promotion.
Stage 1 – Purchase of one of the following new Hyundai vehicle models by a Member from a Hyundai dealer:
- Getz
- i20
- Elantra
- i30/i30cw
- i45
- Grandeur
- iMax
- ix35
- Santa Fe
- iLoad
(a) The Member can purchase any of the above new Hyundai vehicles (Vehicle) from any available Hyundai dealer at any price.
(b) Second hand or demonstration vehicles are excluded from this Promotion.
(c) Members will not be required to identify themself as a member of the Carlton Football Club at the time of purchase of the Vehicle.
Stage 2 – Claiming of Loyalty Bonus from Hyundai for the amounts set out below:

5. How to claim the Loyalty Bonus
(a) Following purchase and registration of the Vehicle, the Member can download the Member Loyalty Bonus Claim Form (Claim Form) available on the websites www.carltonfc.com.au or www.hyundai.com.au.
(b) To claim the Loyalty Bonus, the Member must post, email or fax the completed and signed Claim Form to Hyundai at the address set out on the Claim Form, together with:
(i) a copy of the Carlton Football Club membership card; (ii) a copy of the registration papers of the Vehicle; and (iii) a copy of the sale contract.
The name of the Member must match the name contained in the sale contract and the registration papers.
(c) Hyundai will not be responsible for any Claim Forms that are lost in the mail, during transmission or are received illegible or damaged by Hyundai.
(d) The Claim Form has to be received by Hyundai within 6 months from the date of the purchase of the Vehicle. Hyundai will not accept any Claim Forms received later than 31 December 2010.
(e) The Member is only entitled to the Loyalty Bonus if the person was a Member at the time of purchase and delivery of the Vehicle. Upon receipt of the Claim Form, Hyundai will verify the identity of the Member and the valid membership at the time of purchase and delivery of the Vehicle.
(f) Upon verification of identity and valid membership of the Member, Hyundai will send to the Member a cheque in the amount of the applicable Loyalty Bonus. The cheque has to be redeemed within 6 months from the date of the cheque.
(g) Hyundai reserves its rights to refuse or reclaim the Loyalty Bonus if, or at the time of processing or subsequently, Hyundai discovers that the Membership at the time of purchase and delivery of the Vehicle by the Member was not valid or legitimate.
6. The Promotion commences on 1 January 2010 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on 31 December 2010 at 23:59 (AEST).
7. Members under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter.
8. Incomprehensible and illegible Claim Forms and accompanying documents will be deemed invalid.
9. Hyundai reserves the right to request Members to provide proof of identity, delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim the Loyalty Bonus. Proof of identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Hyundai. In the event that a Member cannot provide suitable proof, the Member will forfeit the Loyalty Bonus in whole and no substitute will be offered.
10. Hyundai reserves the right to verify the validity of Claim Forms and to disqualify any Member which, in the opinion of Hyundai, has tampered with the claiming process, submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who has, in the opinion of Hyundai, engaged in conduct in entering into the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Hyundai. Hyundai reserves the right to reject a Claim Form if Hyundai becomes aware that the Member and/or the Member’s Claim Form is of a type described in this clause.
11. The cost and ability of accessing the Carlton or Hyundai website will be dependant on the Member’s individual Internet Service Provider.
12. The Loyalty Bonus or the legal or beneficial interest in the Loyalty Bonus cannot be transferred or assigned and cannot be redeemed for anything other than payment by cheque made payable by Hyundai to the Member.
13. If the Member consents to being filmed or recorded, the Member permits the Member’s image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the Member’s participation in the Promotion to appear in connection with the Promotion or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the Member will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
14. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a Member does not take the Loyalty Bonus at the time stipulated by Hyundai and as contained in these Terms and Conditions, then the Loyalty Bonus will be forfeited by the Member.
15. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the Loyalty Bonus.
16. If the Member is under 18 years of age, the Loyalty Bonus may be awarded to the Member’s parent or legal guardian.
17. Should a Member’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the Member’s responsibility to notify Hyundai. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Hyundai.
18. It is a condition of accepting the Loyalty Bonus that the Member may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Hyundai in its absolute discretion.
19. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders Hyundai’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, Hyundai may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
20. Hyundai is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the Member, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of Claim Forms.
21. Hyundai reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who Hyundai has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. Hyundai’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
22. Hyundai and its associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of Claim Forms, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
23. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of Hyundai, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Hyundai reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to any State or Federal Laws.
