Goals for Grassroots

Since 2007 Hyundai has supported the ‘Goals for Grassroots’ Hyundai A-League football program. The program is designed to help promote the game of football within local communities, and spans all rounds in the Hyundai A-League season.

Each week one match will be designated as the ‘Goals for Grassroots’ game. In this match the home team will play to win a donation of $1,000 min and an additional $1,000 for each goal they score in the match for their local grassroots team (Up to max $10,000 per game). The more goals your team scores, the more money you get to put back into your local club. View Program Schedule.

Simply register your community grassroots team and then get behind your local Hyundai A-League team, and your club could be thousands of dollars richer!

Clubs can complete an online application form and submit why they believe they should receive a donation. Local clubs can even support their application with photos or short videos. (To be eligible to enter, the local grassroots club must have an association affiliated to the Football Federation Australia.)

Since the inception of the program, Hyundai Motor Company Australia has donated over $300,000 to local grassroots football clubs nationally.
