Focus has been placed on technologies to reduce vehicle exhaust missions, and to enhance the recycling efficiency of end of life vehicles.

Our BlueDrive ™ program further demonstrates our commitment to offering viable and sustainable automotive transport solutions, including the development of vehicle options in the arenas of hybrid technology, fuel-cell development, plug-in Electric Vehicles and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles that emit only heat and water.

Climate Change Task Force

Corresponding to the Kyoto protocol on Climate Change, Hyundai officially began the Climate Change Convention Task Force Team (TFT) in February 2005. The TFT outlines the development and production of environmentally friendly vehicles, energy efficiency improvements in the production process and prescribes practices that adhere to the Kyoto mechanism.
