Hyundai announces 2010 FIFA World Cup™ national team slogans

As one of the six FIFA top tier partners, Hyundai Motor Company created an exclusive program, ‘Be There with Hyundai’ (BTWH), searching for national team slogans for the 32 teams who have qualified to participate in the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ South Africa tournament.

During the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ Germany, the Hyundai BTWH program created enormous huge media interest, and gained a reputation as one of the most successful marketing programs. In collaboration with FIFA, the program was once again carried out for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ with an overwhelming response. 

More than 52,000 football fans around the world participated in the competition to create a memorable identity and catchphrase for their favourite team. The participants submitted their team slogans from December 2009 to March 2010 online, through Hyundai’s 2010 FIFA World Cup™ micro-website
The 32 winning team slogans of the ‘Be There with Hyundai’ program, selected through online voting on the website, will adorn each of the 32 national team buses alongside their national team colours and flags. 

The Australian winner of the Hyundai BTWH program will be awarded with a Hyundai i30 hatch as a prize.

The winning Australian team slogan for the Qantas Socceroos campaign during the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ South Africa will be “Dare to Dream, Advance Australia”.
