Hyundai Motor Group Offers a Helping Hand to Quake-Stricken Japan

Hyundai Motor Group will donate 100 million yen (approximately AUD$1.21 million*) to assist the recovery efforts in Japan, following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck the nation last week.
The monetary donation will be made to the Korean Red Cross and delivered to the Japanese Red Cross to purchase immediate needs like blankets, food, and water.
Additionally, Hyundai Motor Group’s Chairman Mong-Koo Chung sent condolence letters to Japanese business partners on 14th March including JFE Steel Corporation, to express Hyundai’s deepest sympathy and wishes for an early recovery. Hyundai Motor Group will continue to provide additional support as needed.
