Hyundai's 'I Love Football' program for the 2009/10 season has now entered the final voting stage of the competition with the six monthly finalists eligible to win a trip for 2 to the 2010 FIFA World CupTM selected.
All of them will all be present at the Hyundai A-League 2010 Grand Final hoping that fans across the country vote their submission as Australia's favourite. Voting has now commenced and will continue in secrecy until votes close on 15 March 2010. Once all votes have been cast, the winning submission will be determined by the most votes received and officially announced as Hyundai’s ‘I Love Football’ winner for the season on Grand Final Dayand win a trip for 2 to the 2010 FIFA World CupTM
'I Love Football' - Voter Prize Package All fans who cast a vote will be eligible to win a fantastic Sony Entertainment Pack valued at over $6,000.
JANUARY MONTHLY MAJOR WINNER Congratulations to Piers Luttrell for his high quality and amusing entry which aligned the WHiRL to a famous documentary personality and iconic Australian events and people. HYUNDAI BLUES FAMILY DAY Sunday 14 February 2010 The third annual Hyundai Blues Family Day was the first official function of the season for Carlton fans to interact with their heroes. It gave Hyundai a tremendous opportunity to engage with Blues supporters in a family friendly and festival environment. Hyundai activities on the day included…
Hyundai Blues Family Day Autograph Tent & Hyundai Branded Marquee Carlton stars and Coach Brett Ratten met fans and signed autographs during the course of the day. The Hyundai marquee was also the central point for the distribution of Hyundai premiums to fans.
Vehicle Displays A fleet of Hyundai vehicles was displayed on the Visy Park field – crowned by the specially branded Hyundai Display trailer.
Hyundai Fan Premiums Hyundai helped bring in the new season by giving away an assortment of premiums to the fans. These giveaways included: - 4,500 Hyundai and Carlton branded Back Sacks - 5,000 ‘Dynamic Duo’ posters - 5,000 Face Masks (featuring Marc Murphy and Chris Judd) - Hyundai Model Range booklet
Carlton Player Face Masks This additional support premium was issued to fans; whom were also encouraged to retain and bring to Carlton matches this AFL season. A total of 5,000 face masks were distributed on the day; culminating in the mass shot of fans displaying the players’ faces as they were presented with the 2010 season guernseys.
Team Hyundai Promo Staff ‘Team Hyundai’ promotional team engaged with fans throughout Family Day by issuing: - Hyundai Premiums - Manned the Giant Hyundai Inflatable Tyre activity - Assist in directing fans to the Hotshots area - General fan engagement
Hyundai Hotshots Last year’s hugely popular activity where fans have their face/body superimposed into a photo via green screen technology returned at the Hyundai Blues Family Day. This unique photo was then printed and issued to fans on a Hyundai branded cardboard wallet.
Hyundai Giant Inflatable Tyre Activity Junior Blues fans were given the opportunity to ride in the famous Hyundai Zurfs throughout the entire day.

GOALS FOR GRASSROOTS
Hyundai Goals For Grassroots program has now closed for the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season.
Hyundai is proud to announce that over the past three Hyundai A-League seasons, our Goals For Grassroots program has donated $169,000 to grassroots football clubs across Australia.
Thank you to all clubs that submitted applications to be considered as a recipient for this donation and we hope to be able to announce the return of Hyundai's Goals For Grassroots in the 2010/2011 Hyundai A-League season.
