Hyundai Vehicle Warranty

Hyundai passenger vehicles and the iMax are provided with a 5 year unlimited kilometre warranty if the vehicle has been used for private and domestic purposes and are not and have not been previously used for a commercial purpose, including but not limited to taxi, hire, rental, courier, security, driving school, tour or bus operator and emergency vehicles. Passenger vehicles which are or have been used for a commercial purpose are provided with a 5 year/130,000km warranty (whichever occurs first). An iMax which is used or has been used for a commercial purpose is provided with a 5 year/160,000km warranty (whichever occurs first). An iLoad is provided with a 5 year/160,000km warranty (whichever occurs first) regardless of its usage. For full terms and conditions of your warranty, please see your service passport.

Hyundai Genuine and Approved Parts Warranty

For 12 months from the date of purchase of the Hyundai Genuine Part or Hyundai Approved Part from an authorised Hyundai dealer or authorised Hyundai service outlet (Warranty Period), Hyundai warrants that the Hyundai Genuine Part or Hyundai Approved Part will be free from defects arising in workmanship or materials, subject to the conditions outlined under “General Exceptions”. If any Hyundai Genuine Part or Hyundai Approved Part is found to be defective in workmanship or materials within the Warranty Period, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge, or at the discretion of Hyundai the purchase price of the Hyundai Genuine Part or Hyundai Approved Part will be refunded.

Hyundai Genuine Accessories Warranty

For Hyundai Genuine Accessories fitted to the Hyundai vehicle by an authorised Hyundai dealer or authorised Hyundai service outlet during the Hyundai vehicle’s warranty period (as determined by Hyundai in accordance with the Hyundai vehicle service passport), the applicable warranty period is the longer of the following:
i. period commencing from the date of fitment of the Hyundai Genuine Accessory until expiry of the relevant Hyundai vehicle’s warranty period; or
ii. period of 12 months from the date of fitment of the Hyundai Genuine Accessory.

Lifetime Capped Price Servicing

Hyundai iCare Lifetime Capped Price Servicing Program

Program covers all Hyundai passenger, SUV and light commercial vehicles from 1985 model year onwards. Eligible vehicles are entitled to standard scheduled maintenance services at participating authorised Hyundai dealers for a price not exceeding the published capped price for the relevant service. Entitlement applies for the lifetime of the vehicle. Capped prices applicable for standard scheduled maintenance services on each eligible vehicle are as published on www.hyundai.com.au, apply for a stated effective period only, and may change without notice. Standard scheduled maintenance services are of limited scope. Hyundai Motor Company Australia may withdraw the program, add or remove eligible vehicles or vary the program from time to time without notice.

*HERE and MapCare are registered trademarks of Nokia Corporation. Maximum number of 2 updates, delivered on an annual cycle and must be undertaken within 3 years of the vehicle’s initial purchase. Free map updates only apply if the vehicle completes a scheduled service at a participating Hyundai Dealer.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assist upon purchase of new Hyundai vehicle

The Hyundai iCare program offers complimentary 12 months Roadside Assist when you purchase a new Hyundai vehicle. This offer is available for all Hyundai vehicles (excluding rental and taxis) at participating Hyundai dealers until 30 June 2015, unless extended. Roadside Assist is valid for 12 months from the date of retail delivery advice. Other conditions apply. Offer subject to change without notice.

Roadside Assist upon service

When you have your Hyundai vehicle’s scheduled service at a participating Hyundai dealer, you will receive 12 months complimentary Roadside Assist (from the date of service). This does not apply to vehicles which have reached 120 months (10 years) from the original new car sale date. For vehicles older than 108 months (9 years) from the original new car sale date, Roadside Assist ends once your vehicle reaches 120 months (10 years) from the original new car sale date, regardless of whether 12 months has elapsed since the date of the relevant service. This offer is available for all Hyundai vehicles (excluding rental buyers) until 30 June 2015, unless extended. Please mention the complimentary Roadside Assist offer to your participating Hyundai dealer at the time of your vehicle’s service.

Applies to all new Genesis models for the first 5 years / 75,000km, whichever comes first.
