In Detail: 2019 Santa Fe family SUV


CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION DESIGN

The 2019 Santa Fe applies high strength steel extensively and employs state of the art manufacturing techniques to deliver high impact energy absorption and a safe and rigid multiple ring-shaped occupant cell.

The Santa Fe monocoque utilises 15 percent more high-strength steel than the preceding model – Hyundai Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) makes up 57 percent of the body structure, which brings benefits in both passive safety and chassis dynamics.

The hot stamping technique for forming structural sheet metal is applied for 15 components, compared with six for the preceding model. This, with larger weld diameters, increases crashworthiness while reducing the weight of the Body in White.

Body tensile strength is increased by 14.3 percent to 67.0kgf/mm2 and torsional stiffness is increased by 15.4 percent to 31.5x104kgf·m2/radian.

The 2019 Santa Fe is underpinned by optimised MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension.

The broad development strategy for the new Santa Fe’s suspension and steering was to optimise responsiveness and stability while enhancing comfort and refinement. 

To this end the rear suspension has been stiffened compared with the preceding model, with the springs and dampers oriented vertically to give longer travel and a more absorbent ride.

External vertical shock absorbers are tuned to optimise responsiveness and stability while reducing noise, vibration and harshness. Road noise is isolated by reinforcing the floorpan and incorporating additional sound insulation material.

Multiple shock reduction dampers at the upper mounts of the front struts and rear dampers balance precision with comfort and NVH reduction, and optimised, larger diameter rear crossmember bushes improve ride and road noise characteristics.

Aluminium front knuckles and rear carrier mountings reduce unsprung weight by 3.6kg and 5.6kg at each side, respectively.

A Rack-Mounted Motor-Driven Power Steering (R-MDPS) system gives direct, well-weighted feel with varied assistance depending on vehicle speed.


AUSTRALIAN TUNED SUSPENSION & STEERING

New 2019 Santa Fe benefits from suspension and steering tuned in Australia specifically for local driving conditions, as does every new Hyundai vehicle sold in Australia (except iMax and iLoad).

The Santa Fe chassis development program was a joint effort by the Hyundai Australia Chassis Development and Product Planning teams, with an engineer from damper supplier ZF SACHS, and an engineer from Hyundai Motor Company’s Namyang, South Korea R&D facility.

During the development program the team evaluated 27 front suspension damper builds and 22 rear damper builds, as well as two front and three rear spring rates, over thousands of kilometres on a variety of surfaces, from country roads to freeways and corrugated dirt roads.

“First and foremost it had to be comfortable for families; it had to be safe with good recovery after big bumps, and we sprinkled in some fun-to-drive,” said Andrew Tuitahi, Hyundai Motor Company Australia Senior Manager Product Planning. 

The positive influence of Hyundai’s Head of Vehicle Test & High Performance Development, Albert Biermann, was obvious from HMCA’s first local Santa Fe test.

The HMCA development team arrived at a spring and damper tune each for the petrol and turbo-diesel engines, which provide for cosseting ride comfort and enjoyable handling on each of the three Santa Fe wheel and tyre packages.

Hyundai’s R-MDPS – for rack-mounted motor-driven power steering – features in new Santa Fe for the Australian market.

“Santa Fe’s rack-mounted motor-driven power steering gives the driver much better road feel [than the preceding model’s column-mounted motor],” Tuitahi said.

“The priority when tuning the steering was ease-of-use and comfort.” 

The electric-motor assisted steering allows a push-button weight selection via the Drive Mode system, to let owners fine-tune the setting to their driving style.


ENGINES AND DRIVETRAINS

The 2.4 GDi petrol engine is available in Santa Fe Active. Running on regular unleaded the alloy block ‘Theta II’ engine produces 138kW at 6,000rpm and 241Nm at 4,000rpm. Teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission it uses 9.3L/100km on the official combined cycle.

The 2.2-litre CRDi turbo-diesel engine is available across all three Santa Fe trim grades.

The common-rail, direct-injected diesel ‘R-engine’ delivers 147kW at 3,800rpm. With an electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger, it produces 440Nm across the range 1,750 to 2,750rpm.

Paired with a new eight-speed automatic transmission with a multi-plate torque converter, the 2.2 turbo-diesel delivers responsiveness and 7.5L/100km combined cycle fuel consumption.

The diesel engine achieves Euro 5 emissions compliance with a close-coupled diesel particulate filter and an exhaust gas recirculation system.  

In each engine there are eight intake and eight exhaust valves actuated by chain-driven dual overhead camshafts. The timing-chain system has a lifetime service life, reducing maintenance cost compared with a timing belt.

Santa Fe Elite and Highlander feature paddle gear shifters, which supplement the lever selector to allow for easy control of gear shifts.

In every Santa Fe variant engine power is sent to all four wheels through the new Hyundai-developed HTRAC variable torque control all-wheel drive system.

The HTRAC AWD system apportions drive based on wheel- and vehicle-speed inputs. In combination with each of the three drive modes, HTRAC optimises traction to increase comfort, stability, acceleration and fuel efficiency.

The ratio of torque distribution is changed with drive mode selection, and the setting is displayed in the cluster. In Sport mode, HTRAC delivers improved acceleration by distributing up to 50 percent of torque to the rear wheels.

In Comfort mode, the system provides improved stability with up to 35 percent of torque distributed to the rear wheels. And in Eco mode HTRAC sends the majority of engine torque to the front wheels to reduce drivetrain losses and increase fuel efficiency.

In each of the three modes, the system automatically distributes torque to all four wheels to maximise traction on wet or slippery roads and on snow and gravel, and enhances cornering performance.

Drive Mode Select is standard in every Santa Fe and lets drivers choose between Comfort, Eco, Sport and Smart modes.

Comfort mode tailors the Santa Fe’s responses for effortless day-to-day driving and Eco mode smooths throttle inputs and brings earlier transmission upshifts to maximise fuel economy.

Sport mode sharpens engine response and allows the transmission to hold gears for longer, as well as delivering increased weight from the electrically assisted power steering.

Smart mode uses vehicle sensors to establish your driving style and conditions and brings a driver-optimised combination of engine, transmission and steering settings from each of the three alternative modes.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with pedestrian and cyclist detection 
The 2019 Santa Fe is fitted with Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with pedestrian and cyclist detection, an advanced active safety feature that alerts drivers to emergency situations, and applies the brakes autonomously if required.

Using front radar and windscreen-mounted camera sensors, FCA operates in three stages. The system gives the driver visual and audible warnings, before applying the brakes according to the collision danger threshold. When the system detects that a collision is unavoidable it will apply maximum braking force to avoid a collision or minimise damage.

The system is activated, at speeds above 8 km/h, when a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist is detected in front of the car.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop and Go
Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go utilises the front radar and windscreen-mounted sensor to detect the speed and distance of vehicles ahead of the Santa Fe.

The system automatically maintains a safe distance to the vehicle ahead, up to a speed pre-set by the driver.

The Stop & Go function operates in stop/start traffic, bringing the vehicle to a complete halt when it detects the vehicle ahead has stopped, then automatically accelerating to the set speed as the traffic begins to move (The car will only automatically accelerate within 3 seconds of being stationary, otherwise the driver needs to depress accelerator for the vehicle to move).

Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Operating at speeds above 30km/h, this system uses the windshield-mounted sensor to detect the Santa Fe’s positioning within the lane while the radar sensors on either side of the rear bumper detect vehicles next to and diagonally behind.

If a vehicle is detected, BCA displays a visual alert in the appropriate external rear vision mirror and if the driver activates the corresponding indicator, the visual warning flashes and an audible alarm is sounded.

If the driver begins to drift into or turns the steering wheel in the direction of the blind-spot hazard the BCA system will apply the brakes on the opposite side to resist the vehicle turning as a proactive collision avoidance measure.

The system also scans for vehicles approaching rapidly from behind and activates the same sequence of warnings to alert the driver to their presence.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist gives the driver visual and audible warnings and applies the brakes automatically to avoid collisions when vehicles approach from the side, or when reversing out of narrow areas with low visibility, such as perpendicular parking spaces. Using the rear corner radars, the system scans a 180-degree area behind the vehicle. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist operates when the reverse gear is engaged and the vehicle speed is below 10km/h.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW)
The Driver Attention Warning (DAW) system is active between 60km/h and 180km/h and uses the windscreen-mounted camera to monitor the position of the Santa Fe within the lane, while tracking steering and brake pedal inputs and the time since the driver last took a break.

If inattentive driving is detected the ‘Attention Level’ display on the instrument panel will continually decrease to the point that it will recommend the driver takes a break.

High Beam Assist (HBA)
High Beam Assist (HBA) uses the windscreen-mounted camera to scan the road at night to monitor street and other lights, including the headlights of oncoming vehicles and the tail lights of vehicles being followed.

If other vehicle light sources are detected the HBA will automatically adjust headlight power by switching between high and low beam.

HBA is active at speeds over 40km/h and operational when the light switch is turned to the AUTO position and the indicator/high-low beam lever is pushed away from the driver.

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
The Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) system consists of two functions, Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Active LKA.

At speeds of 60 km/h or above, LDW uses the windshield mounted camera to detect lane markings and monitor the vehicle’s position in the lane. Should the vehicle stray from the intended lane without indicators being activated, an audible and visual warning will be sounded.

Active LKA is operational at speeds of 60km/h or above where lane markings on both sides of the vehicle are detected. The function helps prevent the vehicle from straying from the lane and provides steering intervention as the vehicle is about to leave the lane. Where required LKA provides earlier steering intervention in order to assist the vehicle to track in the centre of the lane.

Both LDW and Active LKA are momentarily deactivated whenever turn signals are active. Additionally, the driver must maintain control of the vehicle by holding the steering wheel.

Rear Occupant Alert
The newly developed Rear Occupant Alert is the latest addition to Hyundai’s SmartSenseTM suite of active safety features, and is standard on Elite and Highlander models. Rear Occupant Alert uses an ultrasonic sensor to monitor the rear seats and alert the driver if there are still passengers in the rear seat when leaving the car.

The system first reminds the driver to check the rear seats with a message on the central instrument cluster display when the engine is switched off. If the system detects movement in the rear seats after the rear doors have been opened and then closed, it will sound the horn and flash the lights when the vehicle is locked. The system will also activate if children accidentally lock themselves in the car.

Safety Exit Assist
The Safety Exit Assist prevents accidents when a door is opened while a vehicle is approaching from behind. Using the radar sensors, the system detects approaching vehicles and warns the driver when a door is opened (doors without automatic Power Child Lock). When the driver attempts to unlock child lock doors and the system detects approaching traffic, the vehicle maintains the child lock and issues an audible and visual warning.

Electronic stability control (ESC) with Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) 
Electronic Stability Control encompasses an array of vehicle stability systems, including Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist System (BAS), Downhill Brake Control (DBC) and Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), which automatically applies the brakes for up to two seconds after the brake pedal is released when accelerating uphill from a standing start.

The Electronic Stability control system continuously monitors inputs from various sensors to establish whether the driver has control of the vehicle. If the Vehicle Stability Management system detects that the driver does not have control of the vehicle, it will initiate corrective ESC assistance using the Motor-Driven Power Steering, individual brakes and the throttle.


Six airbags
There are a total of six airbags protecting occupants in the Santa Fe interior, including two front airbags, two side airbags and two curtain airbags that extend from the first to the second row (to cover the entire side window area).

LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)
The daytime running lights are positioned above the headlights in Santa Fe’s split lighting layout, to give a sharp, technical appearance. They are illuminated by long-lasting, highly visible LEDs.

Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) 
Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) flashes the brake lights during emergency braking, where the vehicle is brought to a complete stop, to warn following traffic. It also automatically activates the hazard flashers once the Santa Fe has completed an emergency stop.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) 
The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System displays individual tyre pressures. If a tyre pressure is outside tolerance of the recommended pressure, the pressure will be displayed in red.

Surround View Monitor (SVM)
A new Surround View Monitor in Santa Fe Highlander offers a range of exterior camera views, including a top-down view that makes a breeze of parking where the space and vision to manoeuver is restricted. The various SVM views are selected by pressing a button adjacent to the transmission gear selector.

The surround and rear camera views are complemented by rear park assist sensors in Santa Fe Active, and front and rear park assist sensors in Elite and Highlander.

The Park Assist system overlays parallel, perpendicular and reverse parking guidelines on the camera image. There are also dynamic on-screen parking guidelines which swivel as the steering wheel is turned.

A tailgate guide-line imposes graphics on the camera image so that the driver can judge the proximity to obstacles, allowing space for opening the tailgate. 


MULTIMEDIA

The latest infotainment and connectivity functionality is central in new Santa Fe. In Santa Fe Active there is a 7-inch multimedia system with Radio Data System, Bluetooth connectivity and voice recognition.

Smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presents the device apps on the Santa Fe touchscreen to allow seamlessly integrated operation.

Santa Fe Elite and Highlander feature a satellite navigation system with an 8.0-inch infotainment display. The navigation system presents three-dimensional map views and live traffic data, and comes with a lifetime map care update plan.

Apple CarPlay
Apple CarPlay compatibility allows iPhone users to get directions from Apple maps, make and take telephone calls, send and receive music, and listen to their favourite tunes or podcasts, controlled via a presentation of the device apps on the multimedia touchscreen.

A steering wheel-mounted voice recognition button lets drivers talk to Siri so phone functions can be managed with voice commands, ensuring there is no loss of concentration while driving.

Android Auto
Android Auto compatibility allows drivers to make and take phone calls, send and receive messages, use Google Maps, play music, compose text messages, access calendar information and add reminders, all by using the voice control button on the steering wheel.


TECHNOLOGY

The fourth-generation Santa Fe pushes the technological boundaries in the family SUV class with a range of features until now only found in more expensive luxury vehicles.

Head-Up Display (HUD)
Santa Fe features a head-up display (HUD) that projects driving information onto the windshield. This allows for faster recognition of information while keeping the driver’s vision and attention on the road.

With a projected image size of eight inches at a two-metre distance and class-leading luminance of more than 10,000 candelas per square metre, the new HUD guarantees the best visibility across a range of lighting conditions.

The height and angle of the HUD can also be adjusted to ensure optimum visibility for every driver. The HUD supports driving safety by displaying information such as speed, navigation commands and fuel level as well as alerts from active safety and driver assistance features.

LED Bi-function headlights with dynamic bending
Bi-function headlights for Santa Fe Highlander feature long-lasting light-emitting diode illumination for both high and low beams, to light the road with an attractive crisp, white beam.

The LED headlights also feature a bending function to light the way into and around corners in concert with the turning of the steering wheel.

In addition, Highlander features quick-illuminating LED taillights and bright LED front foglights.

Wireless inductive smartphone charging
To ensure that occupants’ phones are always charged, the Santa Fe Highlander features a wireless inductive charging pad (Qi standard) for compatible mobile phones, with an indicator lamp above displaying the phone’s charging status. To ensure the phone will not be inadvertently left in the cabin, the central display in the instrument cluster will show a reminder when switching off the car. Additionally all Santa Fe’s come standard with USB and AUX Input as well as an additional USB charging port, all conveniently located in the centre console storage cubby.

Supervision cluster
A 7-inch colour TFT LCD supervision cluster headlines the instrument panel in the Highlander. It displays in stunning clarity a range of trip computer information – including a digital speedometer – as well as system status and visual alerts from SmartSense and other safety systems (including DAW, FCA, LKA, RCCW, TPMS and DAW).


COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE

Powered seats with heating and ventilation and an extendable driver’s cushion
In Santa Fe Elite there is a 10-way power adjustable seat (including 2-way lumbar support) for the driver and an 8-way seat for the front passenger. 

Highlander occupants are further treated with a 14-way power adjustable front driver’s seat (including 4-way lumbar and 2-way cushion extension) featuring two-position seat memory function, an extendable seat cushion and a heated steering wheel. In addition Santa Fe Highlander features heated and ventilated front seats, with heated outboard rear seats.

Air conditioning with rear temperature controls
Air conditioning with temperature controls for second row occupants features in every Santa Fe. In Elite and Highlander there is a dual-zone climate control system that ensures maximum comfort and convenience for occupants by automatically maintaining the set temperature. Elite and Highlander also feature glovebox compartment cooling.

The climate control system also features an automatic windscreen defog function, which automatically adjusts the HVAC system to clear the windscreen at the first trace of condensation.

Walk-in Switch
A new one-touch ‘Walk-in switch’ on the kerb side eliminates the need to manually flip and slide the second row seatback, for easy access to the third row. In addition, an electric release switch in the cargo bay allows one-touch folding of the second-row seatbacks.

Smart Power Tailgate
On Elite and Highlander models the Smart Power Tailgate opens automatically when it detects the Smart Key. It can also be opened and closed at the press of the Smart Key button, or by pressing the buttons on the tailgate.

Infinity Premium Audio
A powerful 10-speaker Infinity Premium Audio System features in Santa Fe Elite and Highlander. The surround sound system accurately reproduces your favourite audio tracks via an external power amplifier and central front and rear surround speakers, as well as a midrange speaker in each door, front tweeters, and a rear subwoofer.

Electro-chromatic (auto-dimming) interior mirror
During low ambient light conditions, if the sensor mounted in the electro-chromatic interior mirror detects a bright light behind the vehicle, the mirror is automatically dimmed (Elite and Highlander.)


HYUNDAI AUTO LINK

The new 2019 Santa Fe will delight owners with its Hyundai Auto Link feature. The system connects the Santa Fe’s smart computer to a mobile phone via Bluetooth allowing owners to keep track of vehicle information and get more out of every drive.

Hyundai Auto Link provides a seamless overview of vehicle data, including real-time diagnostics, tyre pressure monitoring, driving history statistics, parking management, easy service scheduling and automatic access to roadside assistance.

 

Hyundai Auto Link presents a multitude of information, including:

Driving Information - Displays current distance, current travel time, today’s distance, today’s travel time, fuel efficiency, and fuel consumption
Tyre Pressure Monitoring - Displays the individual pressure of each tyre on the vehicle – if the tyre pressure is not within tolerance of the recommended pressure, the tyre pressure will be displayed in red
Driving History - Provides the owner’s driving history including arrival time, maximum speed, average speed, average fuel efficiency, fuel consumption, rapid acceleration and hard braking events, distance and travel time
Crowd comparison - Allows the user to compare their efficient driving skills with other Santa Fe owners
Parking Management - Provides parked vehicle location and parking time reminders
RSA (Roadside assistance) - Allows the user to contact RSA directly if there is a problem with their vehicle

Hyundai Auto Link Premium makes its debut on the new 2019 Santa Fe, coming standard on the Highlander model. Auto Link Premium brings a host of convenience and comfort remote control features, including:

EXTERIOR DESIGN

The 2019 Santa Fe brings road-presence and a powerful stance that befits the flagship SUV of the range. New Santa Fe applies Hyundai’s SUV-family visage with the new brand-signature Cascading Grille and eye catching split lighting design.

Santa Fe’s athletic yet elegant look is developed with a sleek roof line and a crisp side character line that effortlessly spans the side profile to link the daytime running lights with the taillights. A robust wheel arch graphic underscores Santa Fe’s rough-terrain ability.

The split lighting frontal treatment positions the LED DRLs above the headlights and unifies Santa Fe with Hyundai’s SUV family.

Crisply penned tail lights (illuminated by LEDs in the Highlander), dual mufflers (with twin-tips for diesel and single tips for petrol) and a striking rear bumper design complete Santa Fe’s confident aesthetic.

New door panel-mounted flag-type exterior mirrors improve the driver’s view.

As well as allowing for greater space for occupants and their luggage, increases in exterior proportions contribute to the Santa Fe’s impressive visual statement. A 70mm increase in overall length from the preceding model (to 4,770mm) and a 65mm increase in wheelbase (to 2,765mm) bring a substantial injection of style and space.

Front overhang is unchanged and rear overhang increased by 5mm compared with the preceding model. Ample ground clearance of 185mm underlines Santa Fe’s ability away from sealed roads.

A mature palette begins with the standard White Cream Mica and a blue hue, Stormy Sea Mica. Across the coolly grey spectrum are the premium Typhoon Silver, Wild Explorer, and Magnetic Force metallic finishes. These are complemented by the warmth of Earthly Bronze and Rain Forest metallic. The vibrant premium Horizon Red Mica and understated Phantom Black Mica complete the selection of nine exterior finishes and shades. 

Elite and Highlander bring additional depth to the defining front grille with a special carbon effect finish. The frontal treatment gains extra impact on Highlander versions courtesy of LED headlights and foglights.

A classy satin chrome garnish for the upper grille ties in with chrome door frame and beltline moldings, satin chrome tailgate garnish and, for Elite and Highlander, satin chrome exterior door handle and side garnish inserts, and a lower bumper garnish.

Santa Fe in Phantom Black Mica makes an exception, adopting refined dark chrome in place of satin chrome for the grille and side, tailgate and lower bumper garnishes, and for the exterior door handle trims.

Alloy wheels for each of the three Santa Fe trim grades span 17- to 19-inches in diameter, in designs that deftly balance athleticism and sophistication.

Active versions feature a 17-inch 10-spoke wheel in Real Steel Grey finish. Elite variants adopt 18-inch Dark Metal 10-spoke alloy wheels with machined highlights. Santa Fe Highlander features 19-inch Dark Hyper Silver 10-spoke alloy wheels.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The fourth-generation Santa Fe’s mature and functional new interior concept is a significant step forward for the vehicle and the brand. The new architecture brings user-friendly ergonomics, meticulous attention to detail, a sense of luxuriousness and an overall premium feel that belies its value position. The view ahead is also improved, courtesy of a low, horizontal dashboard concept.

The slender upper dash ties the instrument cowl with the upper door trims to create a cocooning feeling, contributing to an enveloping sense of quality. The low dash top contributes to a bright and spacious feel and aids vision forward and to the sides.

A floating, central multimedia touchscreen presents a crisp, clear overview of the Santa Fe’s array of infotainment functions. In Santa Fe Active the display screen measures 7.0 inches and in Elite and Highlander it measures 8.0 inches. It is positioned close to the driver’s line of sight and within easy reach.

Black or Sepia interiors feature in the Santa Fe Active, with grey/black cloth seat trim, alloy effect door handles with matching trims for the steering wheel and gear lever and HVAC outlets and dials, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear selector.

In the Santa Fe Elite there are leather-trimmed seats, deluxe cloth pillar, sunvisor and roof trims, and roll-up rear window sunshades.

Just as for the exterior, there is a selection of interior textiles and trim finishes from which to choose.

Black, Dark Beige and Burgundy leather are offered, the latter paired exclusively with suede pillar, sunvisor and roof trim. Stone Effect door and dashboard inserts feature in sepia interiors and Wood Effect inserts feature in burgundy interiors. Carbon fibre door and dashboard inserts are also offered on black interiors with a cross pattern on dark beige.

LED interior lighting in Santa Fe Highlander sets a cool, sophisticated tone in the richly trimmed and fully featured cabin.

New Santa Fe is both larger and more flexible inside than its predecessor, with the added benefit of an increased luggage space with the third row up.

The second row seat bases slide through 300mm, a travel increase of 30mm compared with the preceding model. This allows passengers to balance space in both the second and third rows if more leg room is required in the third row.

The rear floor tunnel is lowered from 53mm to 26mm to allow extra space for the legs of the centre rear occupant.

Ingress and egress to the third row is aided by handles and support surfaces integrated into the interior cladding, and third-row access space is increased by 36mm to 170mm. Headroom in the third row is increased by 42mm.

Visibility for rear occupants – and the sense of openness in the rear compartment – is also improved, thanks to a rear quarter glass that is 41 percent larger than the previous model.

Luggage space is a generous 130 litres behind the third row seats, expanding to 547 litres behind the second row and to an impressive 1,625 litres with both rear rows folded.

A standard Luggage Floor Pile Mat finishes the cargo area.
