Flowing surfaces, sharp lines and a distinctive chrome-framed hexagonal grille create a powerful and lasting impression.

“If a family-sized SUV is on your shopping list, the decision is as clear as crystal"

Stephen Ottley, Drive.com.au

Future-facing and fun.

Highly advanced integrated technologies, such as Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, make driving the Tucson a seamless experience that's a whole lot of fun

Tech features.

2.0 GDi petrol engine.

Hyundai’s 2.0-litre direct-injection four-cylinder petrol engine is available exclusively in 2WD Tucson Active, ActiveX and Elite variants, combined with Hyundai’s advanced six-speed automatic transmission.

Super smooth transmission.

Both the slick 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic achieve greater fuel economy and provide increased driving pleasure. An electronic manual mode on the 6-speed automatic also enables a more involved driving experience.

Suspension and steering optimised for Australia.

To deliver luxury handling with Australian comfort and dependability, Tucson was subjected to an extensive localisation and tuning program, over thousands of kilometres across urban, country and outback roads and surfaces.

Autonomous Emergency Braking.

Combining radar and camera data, the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system activates the brakes when it detects dangerous, sudden braking by the car ahead. When travelling 80km/h and below, the Tucson will come to a complete stop. Only available on the Highlander variant.

Lane keeping assist system.

Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW).

The system will assist by applying steering input to help keep the vehicle between the lane markings. It’s designed to prevent those moments when a lapse of concentration can cause the vehicle to stray outside the lane.

LDW incorporates a camera mounted on top of the windshield which enables the Tucson to recognise the markings on the lane you're driving in and, if it detects an unintended departure it initiates an alert to the driver.

Only available on the Highlander variant.

LED rear combination lamps.

Large, wraparound rear combination lamps are sculpted and use an LED array for maximum brightness, saving energy and enhancing safety. By lighting up a split second faster than conventional lamps, they alert the following driver sooner. Only available on: Highlander variant.

LED side repeaters.

The fold-in electric side mirrors help keep you ding-free, while LED side repeaters on them help keep you safer by clearly alerting those around you of your intention to turn or change lanes. Only available on: Highlander variant.
